Germany can be driven to easily from any of the countries it shares a border with, and the road services in and around the country are all of an excellent standard. Germany can also be reached by using coach services – Eurolines operating out of London’s Victoria Coach Station offer routes to a number of German destinations. A standard pink EU driving license is the required driving documentation. If a photo licence is not held, an International Driving Permit must be obtained.
